Sean Jochims, MD, was born and raised in Hartland, Wisconsin. He opened Neurological Wellness Clinic in 2009 to serve the Wisconsin community he cares so much about. After experiencing life as a neurology patient caused during a spinal cord injury while skiing, Dr. Jochims uses his experience as a catalyst to connect with his patients and stay abreast of the latest advancements in neurological science.
He helped pioneer the epilepsy monitoring program at ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital and has worked as the primary investigator in pharmaceutical research for new epilepsy treatment.
A board certified neurologist, Dr. Jochims provides comprehensive care to patients with concussions; epilepsy; Parkinson's disease; nerve and muscle disease; sleep apnea; headaches and migraines; and back and neck pain. He holds the distinct privilege of being only one of a select few Wisconsin physicians who is a Diplomat with subspecialty training and board certification in clinical neurophysiology (EEG/epilepsy, EMG/NCS) and sleep medicine.
He has fifteen years of clinical experience using Botox to treat FDA approved indications dystonia, spasticity, hemifacial spasm and headache and migraines.
Dr. Jochims and his family live in the Lake Country area. He is committed to raising his three children and enjoys being involved with them in soccer, basketball, football and lacrosse.
"I truly enjoy and feel privileged to be a physician. I am fortunate to meet many people and apply my knowledge to diagnose and treat their problems. Believing each patient has a voice and decision in their health care, my goal is to help each patient achieve his or her optimal health."
